Signature Dining at Giza Palace

F&B positioning, naming, identity, menu & collateral design, guest experience, rollout

Giza Palace was developed as one of Cairo’s standout luxury destinations, set beside the Nile and the Giza Plateau. The food and beverage collection needed a unified story that could elevate the hotel’s position while giving each venue a distinct purpose. Our role was to craft a dining ecosystem that felt contemporary, rooted in place, and able to attract both residents and international travellers.

Approach

The research focused on Cairo’s dining landscape, guest profiles and market opportunities. This allowed us to map each restaurant's role and create distinct yet connected brand behaviours. Naming refinement, tone of voice and visual cues were developed to help each outlet operate with confidence while maintaining alignment with the wider hotel brand. This shaped a cohesive experience anchored by a recognisable culinary standard.

Naming refinement, tone of voice and visual cues were developed to help each outlet operate with confidence while maintaining alignment with the wider hotel brand. This shaped a cohesive experience anchored by a recognisable culinary standard.

The Solution

We developed six venues with individual concepts, identities and guest journeys, with Chef Sergi Arola’s brasserie leading the collection.

Arola Brasserie was positioned as the signature venue, marking Chef Sergi Arola’s first restaurant in North Africa. The identity introduced a Mediterranean point of view shaped for Cairo’s audience. Maison Sucrée offered a refined patisserie experience inspired by European café culture. Palace Grill became a premium grill house with a strong culinary focus. Beit El Ezz carried a modern Levant character with warm service cues. The Palace Bar was shaped as a polished social space for both guests and locals. Luna introduced a Latin influenced tone that added energy and colour to the wider dining offer. Each venue received a full identity system, menu suite and operational language aligned with the overall Giza Palace brand.

The Outcome

The collection strengthened Giza Palace’s position as a premium dining destination in Cairo and gave the property a clear competitive edge.

Arola Brasserie became a standout feature through its association with Chef Sergi Arola and its milestone status within the region. The wider portfolio benefited from strong concepts, clear identities and guest touch points that support consistent operations. Together they formed a coherent F&B ecosystem that reinforces the hotel’s commercial goals and long term brand value.
