The Hotel Galleria, a luxurious 5-star hotel in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, serves as the flagship hotel of the Elaf Group. Boasting a rich history and unique architecture inspired by 19th-century designs, the hotel is ideally located near high-end boutiques and business areas. The hotel's management team sought to refresh its brand identity and turned to Brandteliers for assistance. Our team of branding experts worked closely with them to develop a comprehensive brand strategy and design a fresh new logo that encapsulates the essence of the Hotel Galleria. We also developed marketing materials, including brochures, websites, and promotional items, to promote the new brand identity. The resulting visual assets beautifully represented the hotel's essence.

Recent developments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have opened up numerous opportunities for the tourism industry, highlighting the need for a strategic rebranding initiative. However, the saturated market has been further challenged by the Covid-19 pandemic, significantly affecting the hospitality sector. Establishing a distinctive brand identity was crucial, especially with big international competitors like Marriott nearby. The primary challenge was to preserve a homegrown brand while elevating it to appeal to a refined and high-class audience. With deep roots in Saudi Arabian culture, it was vital to maintain and highlight the unique and exclusive experiences offered to guests at the property.

The process began with a review of the hotel’s architectural cues, cultural references and guest journey within the context of Jeddah’s rising position as a leisure and business hub. This guided a visual and written direction built around warmth, refinement and a grounded sense of place, reflecting the country’s ambition to elevate guest experience standards as part of its national development goals. Naming, tone of voice and identity elements were then refined to present the property with clarity and confidence. The structure helped bring heritage and modernity together in one story that teams could apply consistently across all touch points.

We created a focused suite of brand and experience materials that strengthened the hotel’s presence as a refined destination within Jeddah’s growing hospitality landscape.

Copywriting, design and artwork preparation were delivered with production support to ensure a smooth rollout. All printed and digital materials followed one cohesive narrative, helping the hotel communicate with consistency and prepare for increased visitor interest aligned with the country’s tourism focus.

Our team's unwavering dedication led to Hotel Galleria receiving numerous accolades and recognitions. The brand has earned several prestigious awards, such as the World Luxury Hotel Awards and the World Luxury Restaurant Awards, for being the Best Luxury Hotel in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The hotel's food and beverage services were also recognised with the 2020 HACCP Codex Alimentarius Certificate by the Luxury Lifestyle Awards. Additionally, the hotel received the Bronze Award for Best Visual Identity in the Hospitality & Travel Sector from the Transform Awards MEA. These accomplishments reflect our team's exceptional effort to elevate the Hotel Galleria brand.

Guests experienced a more precise, more intuitive flow throughout the property thanks to improved messaging and consistent visual cues. The refreshed narrative helped position the hotel within a modern Saudi context while maintaining its cultural roots. This aligned naturally with the country’s broader shift toward elevated hospitality, increased tourism and a richer visitor experience. By unifying all touchpoints under a cohesive story, the hotel presented a more confident presence and supported Jeddah’s ongoing development as a key destination for both local and international travellers.
